“Detail Renovations did a complete bathroom renovation last year and a complete living room renovation this year, in a prewar New York City apartment building. Bathroom included demolition, rough plumbing, installation of all new fixtures, tile, cabinets, mirrors, lighting, as well as running water and waste lines through a closet to convert the back half of another closet into a washer/dryer, and upgrading electric panel and distribution.
Living room included demolition, installation of custom millwork with unusual floating shelves and built in library-style LED lighting, removal and replacement of ceiling and installation of recessed lighting, skim coating of old plaster walls, painting, and floor refinishing. Detail did a terrific job. I had previously used another contractor for my kitchen and previous bathroom renovation. There is no comparison. Detail attends to the details. David Dynega is a creative problem solver, very honest, cooperative and helpful. The quality of his workmanship is impeccable. He gets along well with design team. He is honorable and has come back to fix minor problems, even months after completion. His subs and crews are all excellent, do great work, keep the place neat and clean, are respectful and we had no finger pointing. David handled all the paperwork required by my coop board and the building architect promptly and correctly. I highly recommend this company. I will use them again for future renovations.”
