My unique contribution to the Detail Renovations team is my highly detailed punch list, often rivaling the length of our clients!
A gift for seeing the highest potential within a space is what led David Dynega to found Detail Renovations in 2002. The renovation and construction industry was a natural fit for David, working in it alongside family since the age of 11. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Business Finance from Baruch College, David established Detail Renovations with a passion to prove the stereotypical contractor reputation wrong. His goal is not just to make the dreams of his clients become a reality, but to surpass them through the highest levels of persistence, communication, organization and professionalism he holds himself and his staff to.
David’s desire to leave his clients glowingly happy is the motivation behind the solutions-oriented, high-energy and positive environment he creates in the Detail Renovations offices and every work site he visits. When he’s not completing an item on his punch list, David loves to relax near (or on) the water with his loving wife, son and their first baby, their dog Sacha, in their hometown of Great Neck, NY.

Operational Manager

Zohra Haidar’s pivotal role includes managing essential business functions, including office management, finance control, and bookkeeping. Zohra ensures the smooth operation of the office by handling logistics and administrative tasks and fostering a healthy financial and positive work environment. She oversees all financial activities, including budgeting, financial planning, and compliance with regulations, ensuring accuracy in every aspect.
As a primary point of contact for clients, Zohra manages relationships, addresses inquiries, and ensures that each client receives exceptional service throughout their renovation projects. She also handles accounts receivables and payables, managing invoicing, payment processing, and ensuring timely transactions. Additionally, Zohra is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Her dedication to excellence is evident in her commitment to maintaining high accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction standards. With a unique blend of multitasking abilities, a construction background, and a passion for architecture, Zohra plays a crucial role in the continued success and growth of Detail Renovations.

With a unique positive energy that puts a smile on every customer’s face, Masihullah Latifi brings a collaborative approach to each job and works tirelessly to ensure every project is completed to the client’s exact specifications and utmost satisfaction. Over the course of his career, Masihullah has honed his project management skills while working on a number of renovation projects.
After meeting CEO David Dynega and seeing the company’s vision and mission firsthand, Masihullah knew he needed to join Detail Renovations, where details truly matter, and customer satisfaction is the top priority. In his spare time, Masihullah enjoys spending time with his son and seeing him grow up.

Dorota Folta serves as the Project Coordinator at Detail Renovations, providing essential back-end support to ensure the seamless execution of field operations. Her diverse responsibilities allow her to utilize her organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to maintain the highest standards in every project. Dorota’s commitment to excellence is crucial in delivering quality work that clients can rely on, contributing directly to their satisfaction and the company’s overall success.
Dorota’s extensive industry experience and strong educational background make her an invaluable asset to the Detail Renovations team. She holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration and an associate’s degree in graphic design. Additionally, she has completed OSHA training and is certified in Procore software. Her years of experience in general contracting have equipped her with a deep understanding of project coordination, procurement, and estimating. In addition, her diverse range of responsibilities includes managing the subcontractor process and ensuring that productive and beneficial relationships are maintained. Her previous banking and legal roles have also provided her with a solid foundation in financial acumen, client communication, and meticulous documentation.

Mozamel Azizi

Mozamel is a key figure at Detail Renovations, where for the past four years, he’s contributed to the team’s success for the past four years. His role as Field Manager involves ensuring that job sites are fully equipped and maintained, allowing field staff to perform their duties effectively. Mozamel also takes on the critical responsibility of ensuring the shop runs smoothly and maintaining the “back of house” job materials, ensuring everything is in place for seamless operations.
Detail Renovations is an opportunity for Mozamel to apply his extensive knowledge and skills while learning new facets of the industry. He chose to work at Detail Renovations to deepen his renovation expertise and be part of a team that consistently delivers top-tier craftsmanship. Mozamel takes pride in bringing the “detail” to Detail Renovations by focusing on client happiness.
With a passion for building and renovating, Mozamel’s interests in remodeling, carpentry, and other construction activities aligns with his role. His construction journey is unique, having initially studied aviation maintenance and worked as an Aircraft Technician for Delta Airlines before transitioning to the renovation industry. This career shift has allowed him to follow his true passion for construction.
Mozamel enjoys a fulfilling life with his beautiful family of four. Mozamel’s dedication to his work, commitment to excellence, and ability to keep operations running smoothly make him an indispensable part of the Detail Renovations team.

With over 30 years of on-the-job experience, Jacek’s high-quality craftsmanship and committed work ethic embody the tenants of Detail Renovations. Since joining the company over 20 years ago, Jacek still has the same passion for his work and love for his craft. Jacek’s organization, self motivated spirit and the high standards he sets for himself translates to the teams he oversees and peers he works with. Jacek resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn New York with his wife and young daughter.

Each of our clients welcome Peter into their homes to kick-off the start of every project, thanks to his trustworthiness and thoroughness. Peter’s determination to solve any unique hurdle a project presents, is supported by his strong industry experience, cooperative attitude, flexibility and honesty. The clean, orderly and environmentally friendly demolitions Peter facilitates allows for our craftsmen to then do their jobs effectively and in a timely fashion. Peter and his wife reside with their pet birds in Elmhurst, New York.
