The Art of ReconstructionThis project showcased the complete restoration of a residential property severely affected by water damage. The process began by removing stone and roofing to investigate persistent leaks, uncovering inadequate drainage and waterproofing that were causing water to penetrate the home.
The comprehensive restoration process included reframing wood structures, replacing plywood, installing advanced waterproofing systems, and restoring the roof and stonework. To address water damage in multiple rooms, interior repairs were conducted simultaneously. In addition to the restoration, the team provided critical support to the client, assisting with insurance claims and legal actions against the original builder by documenting and presenting evidence for the case.
The project underscores the importance of meticulous restoration practices, proactive waterproofing measures, and comprehensive client advocacy. The property remains watertight five years post-restoration, demonstrating the project’s long-term success.
